Jean Dujardin May Mind To His Roots in 'Le Petit Joueur'

He might have lately made many buddies in Hollywood, but Oscar-winning actor Jean Dujardin has not forgotten l'ensemble des amis in his native France and might be reunited using the comedy troupe that released his career in approaching film "Le Petit Joueur."French media reported the project on Tuesday, but a repetition for that film's director Manu Joucla declined to provide particulars around the project. Joucla and Dujardin were people of sketch comedy troupe Nous C Nous alongside stars Bruno Salomone, Eric Massot and Eric Collado who'll all co-star with Dujardin within the approaching ensemble comedy. The film also stars Dujardin's real-existence wife Alexandra Lamy and her actress sister Audrey, plus Shirley Bousquet and French funnywoman Florence Foresti."Le Petit Joueur," which means "The Small Player" in French, will begin shooting this summer time in Tunisia. Given his hectic shooting schedule with thriller "Mobius" in pre-production, Dujardin may have a more compact role within the film than planned, but nonetheless intends to lend his talents towards the project.The comedy concentrates on an out-of-work guy separated from his wife who decides to compete inside a poker tournament organized with a billionaire. Nous C Nous was created in 1998 and rose to success after parodying boy bands.Because of its recognition among French TV audiences, Dujardin was contacted by France 2 in 1999 for "A Woman along with a Guy," opposite his current wife Alexandra Lamy, the reveal that would eventually launch his career.Before "The Small Player," Dujardin fans can catch their most favorite actor in "The Gamers" which hits French theaters on Wednesday.
